ARM Cortex-A9 Designs
End-to-end ARM Cortex-A9 architecture and ARM Cortex-A9 Designs covering Hardware Design, Embedded Applications, BSP & Firmware, Design for Manufacturability and Product Lifecycle Support for designing high-performance consumer and enterprise portable products.
OVERVIEW
The ARM Cortex-A9 architecture is highly optimized for high performance, power efficient mobile devices. The configurability and flexibility of the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture allows developers to scale across a wide range of embedded applications.
The ARM Cortex-A9 architecture has been incorporated by most leading SoCs, such as TI OMAP4 and AM1x processors, Apple A5 & A5X, NXP i.MX6, Renesas Electronics EMMA Mobile/EV2, Xilinx Extensible Processing Platform, Altera SoC FPGA, Samsung Exynos 4210, 4212, 4412, among others. Mistral’s Product Engineering Division has extensive expertise on ARM Cortex-A9 architecture having developed several embedded product designs based on the TI OMAP4 and i.MX6 from NXP (earlier Freescale).
Mistral also designs and develops custom add-on modules for ARM Cortex-A9 architecture based development platforms to enable various interfaces (WiFi, Bluetooth, Camera, CAN, UART, GPS, DSI, CSI, LCD display with touchscreen, MFi, ADCs, DACs, I2C, SPI, Profi-Bus, EtherCAT) on the product. This helps product developers prototype and test new features on the ARM Cortex-A9 Architecture based development platform or EVM that they would like to add to their end product; before building a custom form factor design of the product.
