Mistral’s VISE board is a powerful device built around the i.MX6 Dual/Quad Core, ARM Cortex A9 SoC from Freescale.
Based on a dual board architecture, the VISE Board consists of a Nano SOM comprising of SoC, PoP Memory, Flash Memory and Wireless interfaces and a Carrier Module comprising of Camera, Display, Audio, Gigabit Ethernet, Sensors and other peripheral Interfaces. The Nano SOM is designed using a micro-BGA architecture and PoP memory assembly to deliver a small package. The Carrier Module supports interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet, CMOS Parallel, CSI Camera, MIPI, LVDS and HDMI Displays, MicroSD and USB 2.0 Host connectors. The carrier module also provides additional interfaces like I2C, PWM, MMC, UART and GPIOs via interface connectors.
The VISE Board is an ideal platform to kick-start design and development of biometric devices, drones, wearable computers, medical electronic devices, security and personal cameras and other smart gadgets requiring small footprint and high processing power.
