Mistral’s VISE board is a powerful i.MX6 development board built around the i.MX6 Dual/Quad Core, ARM Cortex A9 SoC from Freescale. Based on a dual board architecture, this i.MX6 development board consists of a Nano SOM comprising of SoC, PoP Memory, Flash Memory and Wireless interfaces and a Carrier Module comprising of Camera, Display, Audio, Gigabit Ethernet, Sensors and other peripheral Interfaces.
The i.MX6 Nano SOM is designed using a micro-BGA architecture and PoP memory assembly to deliver a small package. The Carrier Module on the i.MX6 Development board supports interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet, CMOS Parallel, CSI Camera, MIPI, LVDS and HDMI Displays, MicroSD and USB 2.0 Host connectors. The i.mx6 development platform also provides additional interfaces like I2C, PWM, MMC, UART and GPIOs via interface connectors. This i.mx6 development board is an ideal platform to kick-start the design and development for devices requiring small foot-print and high processing power like wearable computers, drones, biometric devices, security and personal cameras, medical electronic devices and other smart gadgets.
